Even though this was my first baby, by the time I took the hospital tour at St. Vincent’s, I was already familiar with a few of the post-partum wards in the City. I spent time last fall at both Lenox Hill and St. Vincent’s, where Dr. Worth admitted me for treatment of hyperemesis.
D and I were both really impressed with St. Vincent’s. We felt that everyone there spent more time with us and seemed more engaged in my care. So we had no reservations about following Dr. Worth down to St. Vincent’s when she joined Dr. Mussalli to form Village Obstetrics.
Our 28-hour labor and delivery only confirmed how wonderful the doctors and nurses at St. Vincent’s are. The labor and delivery nurses were so attentive and knowledgeable — their experience was especially valuable when it came time to push — and Dr. Mussalli and the anesthesiologist gave us great advice about pain relief. The post-partum nurses again took great care of me, and the pediatric staff were wonderful with the baby.
Thanks to everyone at Village Obstetrics and St. Vincent’s for helping us bring Robyn into the world.
Regards, R & D
