I want to send you a picture of my daughter Isadora. She was born on April 13 w/ 7.5 lb, 19 in, and Apgar 9 and 10. I was able to control my gestational diabetes once I got here, and had a natural birth that lasted 1 hour (I arrived at the birthing center w/ 6 cm of dilation and in 1 hour I was fully dilated and Isadora was born). All and all it was not too bad. Considering that 85% of the births in Brazil are cesarian (can you believe it?) I was just so relieved to have found a good doctor that was willing to conduct a natural delivery.
I want to thank you for taking such good care of me and Isadora for the first 7 months of my pregnancy, it made all the difference. I was sad not to have her with you, but fortunately all worked out.
