Dear Dr. Mussalli and Dr. Worth,
Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of our beautiful daughter Estelle, whom you delivered three years ago. The compassion and reverence for life that you showed when you delivered her is very much still on our minds and hearts.
Estelle is today a joyful, loving, intelligent three-year-old. She rarely cries or is upset, and I think she is literally the happiest person I know. She began reading at the age of two, and loves participating in our family home school. She and her five-year-old brother, Elijah, are best friends. We are proud of her strong intellect and bubbly personality, but mostly we are proud of her deep love for others and for God, which is more important than anything else we could ask for her.
A child’s birth is such a deeply important, formative time in their life, however relatively brief in the grand scheme of things. It is you that we have to thank for shielding her, protecting her from anything that could have marred the perfect, innocent joy that we see in her today, as you delivered her with such care and respect for both her integrity and mine, very lovingly and gently, putting her needs first as she emerged into the outside world for the first time. Our family is so grateful to you.
Thank you for all that you have done for our family. You are both in our prayers.
With love and thanks,
J.A. Elijah and Estelle
